SEARCH: MODERN PROBLEMS OF LEGAL REGULATION AND ENFORCEMENT PRACTICE

Abstract

The article deals with modern problems of legal regulation of the search. The author addresses these issues because a search is a very frequent activity carried out by the preliminary investigation authorities. The author identifies two main trends that affect the further development of the legal support of the search. At the same time, the author examines the mistakes that are made in the practice of conducting a search. The author compares, by mistakes, the replacement of the search by investigative examinations, and the recognition of the materials of the video recording of the search as material evidence.
