Abstract
In this article the translation of the sentences in the translation work based on the bilingual versions of “The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and provided examples of figures of speech in both English and Uzbek languages. In translation, migration is mainly based on metaphor, metonymy and synecdoche, from English to Uzbek, and there analyzed how the sentences in translation process changed.
